On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, the Supervisory Board of the Public Service Agency (BLU) along with the Management Team of BLU BBIB Singosari held a BLU Supervisory Board Meeting at BBIB Singosari. The BLU Supervisory Board of BBIB Singosari is chaired by Dr. Ir. Nasrullah, M.Sc., with members Drh. Makmun, M.Sc., and Sri Martini, S.E. This is a routine agenda aimed at reviewing performance achievements and assessing the potential for BBIB Singosari to improve its service performance.
Mrs. Sri Martini, S.E., stated, "BBIB Singosari's revenue has been improving year by year, and the financial performance in the second quarter is also good. There are a few areas that can be further improved, such as Maturity Rating and budget absorption by BBIB Singosari."
At the same time, Drh. Makmun, M.Sc., provided input, "In the future, BBIB Singosari's BLU services should not rely solely on concrete. BBIB Singosari should be able to develop its business units in other potential areas. As a BLU, it is highly possible for BBIB Singosari to expand its business areas according to the situation."
Dr. Ir. Nasrullah, M.Sc., Director General of Livestock and Animal Health at the Ministry of Agriculture, who also serves as the Chairman of the BLU Supervisory Board of BBIB Singosari, gave guidance, "The mindset of the employees in this BLU must change, from being civil servants who spend the budget to being civil servants who generate income for the country. BBIB Singosari BLU must continue to grow, not relying solely on the state budget but seeking potential income sources beyond the state budget. BLUs should not be stuck in conventional businesses; they must think outside the box. This effort doesn't have to be done alone; it can be achieved by building a network of partnerships with collaborators, depending on BBIB Singosari's creativity in utilizing existing potential."
As a BLU, BBIB Singosari is required to enhance the quality of its services according to its potential and the prevailing conditions through the development of businesses that meet the needs of the community. Through optimization efforts, it is hoped that BLU BBIB Singosari will continue to grow without solely relying on the availability of the state budget.(*)
