BBIB Singosari has resumed its services that were temporarily halted due to the emergence of the coronavirus pandemic some time ago.
Precisely on August 27, 2020, BBIB Singosari conducted another Technical Guidance for Pregnancy Examination or PKB. While during normal times, there would be around 30 participants in each training session, this time the training was limited to only 15-20 participants to adhere to health protocols. Participants were required to bring a non-reactive rapid test result at a minimum.
During the initial registration at BBIB Singosari, participants were also required to undergo health checks guided by specialized doctors provided by BBIB Singosari. Before participants arrived, BBIB Singosari had prepared various facilities and equipment that support health protocols, both within the BBIB Singosari area and during field practice. BBIB Singosari provided handwashing stations and hand sanitizers at accessible locations. Assigning one room for one person in the participants' dormitory and arranging seating positions in the classroom to maintain a safe distance were also implemented. Field practice was conducted with disciplined adherence to health protocols, accompanied by officers from the Livestock and Animal Health Office of Malang Regency.
One of the participants, Wahyu Bayu Martani, said, "An Artificial Insemination (AI) officer must possess the skill to examine pregnancy professionally, not only for greater professionalism but also for more valid pregnancy reporting based on a thorough understanding of pregnancy examinations. We are very pleased that this PKB training has resumed, and we are committed to maintaining health protocols throughout the training event.
The reopening of BBIB Singosari's training services, with a focus on health protocols, is one of the ways BBIB Singosari demonstrates its commitment to providing the best service to the community, encouraging economic activity to resume, while also not neglecting efforts to break the chain of Covid-19 transmission.
