Singosari (25/9) - The effective and efficient administration of a country requires the availability and proper management of facilities and infrastructure. The management of State Property (BMN), from planning to disposal, must adhere to the principles of 3Ts: Physical Order, Administrative Order, and Legal Order.

The breeding bulls of cattle and goats at BBIB Singosari, which are used for semen production, are vital assets in the production process. As the productivity of these assets declines and the maintenance costs increase, BBIB Singosari decided to auction off some of its breeding bulls. The auction process is initiated after obtaining approval for asset disposal. The auction was conducted by the Office of State Wealth Service and Auction (KPKNL) of Malang Regency on September 25, 2018. “Once the request for animal disposal from BBIB Singosari is approved by the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry and Health, the auction is processed by KPKNL as the authorized institution to conduct auctions,” said Arif Mawardi, BMN SIMAK officer.
Out of the 28 proposed Breeding Bulls and 1 Breeding Goat, only 19 Breeding Bulls and 1 Breeding Goat were auctioned. “In total, 28 cattle and 1 goat were auctioned, divided into 3 auction lots. The first lot contained 9 cattle, the second lot 10 cattle, and the third lot 9 cattle and 1 goat. However, there were no bidders for the first lot,” added Arif.

The first lot, which had no bidders, will undergo a re-auction and will be divided into three lots, consisting of 4 bulls, 3 bulls, and 2 bulls each. (Dfn)
